When teaching beginning students, many instructors will leave extra weights at the water’s edge in case they are needed. Doing so is a good idea. What is not a good idea is leaving those weights in the wrong place.
Our new floating dock has not one but two places that are ideal for this. This two-minute video will show you where.
What you should remember from this includes:
- Keep the area between the entry and exit stairs clear of any cylinders or weights that could get in the way of students practicing giant strides.
- The two narrow dock sections outside the stairs are the best places to leave your extra weight.
Miss Virgil thanks you for your cooperation.
