Introductory scuba experience
If you want to experience the underwater world but don’t want to commit to an entire certification course, this program is for you. It takes just a half day and includes time in the pool, followed by a dive in the Grotto. $199 includes eLearning, all instruction, dive site admission and the use of equipment.

- This experience typically takes a half day. We can usually schedule it for when it is most convenient for you.
- There is a two-person minimum for classes. However, if you are by yourself, we can add you to an existing class.
- We generally need at least one week’s advanced notice so that we can not only line up an instructor and pool time but also so that you will have sufficient time to complete the required eLearning before the start of class.
You must:
- Be at least 10 years old.
- Be comfortable and relaxed in water too deep to stand.
- Be able to answer No to all the questions on the medical questionnaire or obtain a physician’s approval for diving.
