After we posted our 6 Rules video on Facebook, a visiting instructor made the following comment:
How about a video of being respectful of other divers, i.e.:
- Watch where you are going
- Share the platforms during the weekends
- Don’t go through classes
- Watch where you are going during your descents
I have been hit by students and seasoned divers dropping like rocks!
This instructor was not alone. We hear comments like this from visiting instructors all the time.
Rest assured, when we update our diver and instructor orientation videos later this year, we will include these points. However, in the meantime, ask yourself, “Am I part of the solution, or am I part of the problem?”
