Sandy is one of our associates who checks in divers, takes reservations, answers calls, and more. She came to Blue Grotto in 2011 as a local open water diver, but being a small farm owner with many animals, diving opportunities centered on the springs.

Since we are Spring, Cavern and Cave capital of the world, her passion became technical diving. To date, Sandy has 600 dives, half being full cave.

Known by her thoroughbred racing community as a Renaissance Woman, Sandy is multi-faceted and has lived coast to coast, traveling extensively in the USA, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico, Israel, Egypt, Greece, Jordan and Turkey.

Her careers have ranged from the restaurant business to manufacturing her own natural food product line to becoming a professional Thoroughbred Jockey, a Cytogenetic Technologist, a Paralegal, and an underwater cave photographer.

Sandy is a non-GMO, WFPB vegan, gourmet cook, animal welfare advocate, conservationist, writer, and a joy-filled lover of life and Jesus.
