David Myler

If you recognize Dave’s name, it’s most likely because you saw it on our liability release. As the owner of Blue Grotto, all the changes and improvements that have taken place over the past ten years can ultimately be attributed to David’s money, patience and creativity.

Unlike many businesspeople, Dave believes in investing for the long term. Our solar panel array and Tesla Powerwalls are just one example. It may take years for this investment to pay for itself, but ultimately, it was a wise decision. Besides, it was just the right thing to do.

Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Dave has been a Florida resident since 2008. He and his wife, Debbie, have three married children, four grandchildren and one granddog.

Dave learned to dive two years after purchasing Blue Grotto. Since then, he has dived here and in St. Johns, Virgin Islands. St. Johns and Rainbow River are among his favorite dives.

In addition to diving, Dave enjoys playing guitar, painting architectural landscapes, pickle ball, hiking, boating and drinking bourbon. His favorite part of owning Blue Grotto is meeting people and helping make our guests’ experience as safe and enjoyable as possible.
